We arrived about an hour before sunset to allow time to walk the trails and enjoy the views from atop the highest point along the North Atlantic seaboard. As often happens in New England at this time of year, temperatures drop quickly as the shadows grow long, and our summery attire were no match for the advancing chill. So we donned every available sweatshirt and windbreaker, and hung in there long enough to see this glorious sunset, and make a fashion statement!
Ah, the things we do for love. Thank you dear!
The fashion statement trumps the sunset by about twenty-five degrees!
Thanks Michael; it’s important to maintain appearances! 🙂
WOW I love it there! So worth the little chill for what you captured we are tough!
Tough indeed! Thanks Eunice.
🙂
Not to poo poo on your bravery, but I challenge you to go to Maui and get up at 430am to make it to the top of Haleakala for a sunrise! Now THAT is cold AND beautiful. It can be 80 degrees when you wake up and 30 degrees and windy at the top, so wear layers!! You two do look adorable though :0) and I agree with Michael.
I would LOVE to do that Rodney. And thanks, that look is not easy!
