I took the above photo on a recent gray, colorless morning. Nothing special, not even post-worthy. But then something caught my eye. Can you see it?
Close to the opposite shore was this beautiful, singular swan. I moved closer and just watched from my side.
Grace. Poise. Loneliness? Regardless, Confucius was right:
“Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.”
You can if you are able to see the hidden beauty in the world. Especially when it’s gray and colorless.
The swan is beautiful for sure! BUT I thought the first photo was beautiful on its own!! I want to go kayaking there! I love how the water ‘leads’ you into a world of unknown! And the reflections of clouds and trees are dreamy! Thanks for posting a “non” worthy post Ed!
