OK Go is a pop music group from Chicago and LA, known for their catchy tunes but even more so for their creative music videos. This video was just released and is definitely worth 5 minutes of your time to watch. And you MUST watch it all the way to the end. Trust me on this.
Here are some points you should know about the video:
- It was filmed in one continuous take, after over 50 tries,
- 1,500 volunteers perform in this video, and quite impressively,
- It was filmed via a video camera attached to a drone. That’s right, a remote controlled flying drone that traveled ahead of, overhead and WAY overhead the performers.

I will revisit this video when I’m in need of a little creative inspiration. Wow.
P.S. I don’t know what those things are that they are riding, but Santa will be getting a personally hand-written, courier-delivered letter from me very soon.
Now that was FUN. And amazing! What incredible synchronized choreography! I say we all go out and have a lot of fun this weekend… OK??….. GO!!!
I’m in. Meet you in the parking lot! Thanks Rodney.
