Sunset through the divi tree. Fuji X-S1, 1/180s, f/3.2, ISO 100
The locals tell me that sunsets are pretty much guaranteed to be beautiful, and to occur every night at 7pm, off the west coast of Aruba. Looking for an interesting foreground element, I focused on the girl just as she turned her head, lending her profile.

Just minutes later, as I headed back to our resort, I noticed a near-full moon rising in the east. So I tested the X-S1’s long lens and image stabilization, and shot this in manual mode, handheld.

Daily bread indeed! Love the second photo. I need to get to Aruba now! And hand held full moon? Impressive!!!
