“One day I will find the right words, and they will be simple.” — Jack Kerouac
I recall through the first phase of my education, attempting to put thoughts to paper in impressive, inspiring fashion. Unfortunately, my thesaurus mentality bloated out words and sentences into barely parseable fragments, requiring study and broad consideration.
Professer Kerber liberally sprayed red ink marks across my illuminated words, rendering them a scrap heap, forcing me to rebuild using the simplest words, the easiest phrases. Clarity he said. Impress with your thoughts, not the manner in which you express them.
Simple.

KISS. Amen.
Amen.
Rey, you nailed it. Our attempts to impress others through words or other medium generally results in the opposite outcome. I know this all too well. The professors quote is dead on, too. Thanks for being honest and for sharing Joey’s photo.
Thanks, Michael. Nicely said…

As a budding amateur photog I take inspiration and direction from the shots displayed. As a flawed human, I take inspiration and hope from your words. Thank you.
We are all flawed, Thelma. Thanks,
Rey
Brevity is the soul of wit.
Rey, Tell us a little about Joey. He seems to have a good eye. Did you will the X100s to him?
Joey is the true talent in the family. And he’s been making proper use of the X100s, though will let me use it once in a while.
