The Other Half Mile

rey spadoniI recently posted (here) that I was on a long and straight “scenic” drive in Big Cypress National Preserve in Florida .  I stated, rather seriously (seriously), that 22.5 of the 23 miles I crossed didn’t offer a great deal of actual scenery.  This image shows what exists in the other half mile.

Swamps, swamps and swamps.  Endless swamps.  And some big cypress trees which apparently don’t seem to mind.

The best way to see Big Cypress is by canoe. 🙂

I’ll look forward to going back and doing just that. Thanks!
