Yet the trees perpetually flourish

rey spadoni“What is the appropriate behavior for a man or a woman in the midst of this world, where each person is clinging to his piece of debris?  What’s the proper salutation between people as they pass each other in this flood?” — Hindu Prince Gautama Siddharta, the founder of Buddhism, 563-483 B.C

This swamp-like image was taken just a few miles from my home in an area that remains perpetually flooded.  Yet the trees perpetually flourish.

  1. I love reflecting photos, especially of nature. With tree, it is as if there is no beginning and no end, as you stated, “perpetual”. The B & W is a nice touch.
