“Winter woods” by Rodney Daly

Winter woods by Rodney Daly

Rodney Daly, long time friend of 2 Guys, sent us this wonderful winter scene.  He tells us:

“This shot was from a snow shoe I took up Mt. Cardigan near Canaan, NH on the south trail looking out and beyond towards the south west.  I was the only person snowshoeing that day and it was just so peaceful!  Part of the going was tricky and I almost turned around, but I am so glad I didn’t because it led me to that spot. It is about 3/4 of the way up Mt. Cardigan.  I used a high F-stop (f/22) to get the suns rays pointing out.  Taken with my Nikon D3000.”

Excellent image Rodney, thanks for sharing with us.  Don’t put away those snow shoes yet.

Black and white February continues and you’re invited to participate.  Send us your best BW’s (max 2) with some background, to 2guysphoto@gmail.com and we’ll make you famous.  Or at least, we’ll make your mother proud!
