Millions upon millions have seen it. ABC News picked it up and viral it’s gone. It’s a bonafide four minute and thirteen second ode to good parenting.
Because he thought it better to actually show mommy what he and his child were up to rather than merely tell her about it, this dad prepared one fantastic time-lapse video showing all the sweet moments of this day with his child. The viral nature of this has spun up out of admiration for how wonderful this father-child time together appears to be. [As an aside, this vid is probably as ‘realistic’ as a typical episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians, which is to say, not very realistic. I mean, I wonder whether the days that aren’t being filmed actually look anything at all like this…]
I’m posting this here simply because of how amazing the video production is. Note the selective use of time-lapse techniques interspersed with regular video capture. Notice how the shooting intervals speed up and slow down based on the soundtrack. Somebody knew what he or she was doing in Final Cut or iMovie.
Oh yeah, it’s really sweet too.
