When I was a kid, we drove thru the Alps from Switzerland to Italy, and I remember the grandeur and magnificence of those mountains. This image recaptures that grandeur…excellent!

Paradise indeed. And I think it is the detail of the field before the mountains that make it extraordinary.
Thanks for the comments everyone. Interestingly (and probably tellingly), this was the only photo I took using the tripod I lugged 10,000 miles from home. Lesson learned…
