The Castle Island playground in South Boston is an oasis, particularly on a hot summer Sunday, as seen here. Shot at f/16 as I wanted the boy on the bench in the foreground, as well as the planes in the distance to be in focus, 1/40s, with a Nikon D90 DSLR and Nikon 18-200 zoom lens. Had some fun with the heat map filter, to demonstrate the energy, as well as the heat, of that day.

what a “cool” summer photo Ed. I like the heatmap take of it too. I usually don’t like that much effect on a photo, but for this one it works I think. Fun
