According to Wikipedia, “A shadow is an area where direct light from a light source cannot reach due to obstruction by an object.”  I would add that, sometimes, the shadow is more interesting than the object that cast it.  Here are some examples…, shadows, iPhone, shadows, iPhone, Keltic Krust, shadows, iPhone, graduation, shadows, CanonSX230HS

Friday night, I attended my nephew’s graduation from an all boy high school. I arrived only a few minutes before they called his name and waited alongside several young men, all of whom were sporting navy blue blazers and khaki pants.  While waiting, I couldn’t help but think that these young men, along with the other young men and women of their generation, represented the future.  And I wondered if their future influence would reach as far as their shadows did this day.

The first three images above were taken with an iPhone, 4 the fourth with a Canon SX230HS P&S camera.
