“There’s sunshine in your smile”

That’s the meaning of a yellow tulip, according to Plantingseedblog.

That seemed pretty fitting to me when I saw this bunch that my children gave their Mom yesterday. Taken with a recently acquired Canon SX230 HS P&S, in macro mode. Edited to draw the eye to the one bloom and using a “zoom” feature to blur the rest. Finally, a slight drop shadow was added to lift it off the page a tad. What do you think?

These yellow tulips did show off the sunshine in her smile, so I guess it must be true!
