Rodney’s photos have graced our pages before, and we’re happy to have him back after a recent trip to Chicago. What follows are three of his images from the trip, plus a bonus shot at the end!
I really like the balance to this shot, and the fantastic transition of color from top to bottom. Rodney took this with his Nikon D3000 set at f/5.3, 1/80 second and ISO 1600, focal length of 165mm (equiv).
Rodney caught this street performer really “throwing his axe”. Same camera, f/5.0, 1/320 second, ISO 1600, 36mm (equiv) focal length.
And finally, a colorful cityscape abstract: f/5.3, 1/1250 second, ISO 1600 at 42mm (equiv) focal length.
This post would have been published last week but I held it when I learned that I’d have an opportunity to meet Rodney. We had lunch with another friend on Wednesday and I wanted to share this souvenir with you:
In case you’re wondering, Rodney is full time nurse and a part time clown, and the children in his care are blessed to have such a talented and caring person at their bedside. (Rodney actually got me to don a red nose, but we’ll save that one for another day!).
Thanks for your support of 2 Guys Photo Rodney, and for all your good work. Posted by Ed
