Daily Photo Phix: Daddy

I was walking through a downtown Boston cemetery and taking note of the various distinguished markers, honoring those who passed a long, long time ago.  Most dates were in the late 1800s.  This particular one struck me for it’s simplicity and for the intimacy of the remembrance; not a name, no dates… merely “Daddy“… and I wondered about the story.

Taken with the Olympus PEN EPL2 and Panasonic 20 f1.7 combo.  I used the in camera pinhole art filter and that’s about it.  Translation: no other post-processing required.  The PEN art filters are good like that.

Great find Rey, nice shot. Like you said, the simplicity and intimacy of of this marker is intriguing. The pinhole art filter did a great job.
